We would like to provide you with an update around what is happening from our experience regarding IR35 and the changes which commenced this week from Tuesday, 6th April 2021.
Last week and over the Easter weekend PSCs/limited company contractors have started to take action and ensure they are getting set up ready for the changes from work completed today. Although they do not want to switch to another solution, they are being forced by their End Client to set up if they are looking to continue with their current assignment.
They have been working over the bank holiday weekend to ensure we are here to support throughout this challenging time for both contractors, agencies & clients. In addition, we continue to regularly communicate to all switchers from beginning of the year to support, ensuring they are reminded of the changes and they are all set up and ready for payment. This includes their salary sacrifice, tax elements & what they are doing with their limited company.
Communication is at the core of everything we do, the more we communicate the easier the transition will be. We believe Thursday and Friday (15th & 16th April 2021) will be when the majority of switchers are likely to get paid.
We are ensuring we are ready for the questions & queries and here to support from 8am in the morning till 9pm next Wednesday & Thursday in preparation of payments.
As majority of agencies and clients plan and prepare for the changes there is still lack of understanding regarding the changes. There is still noise out there with regards to compliant service providers which ADVANCE take very seriously and go the extra mile to ensure all our processes and solutions have the seal of approval from both FCSA & EY. This should continue to assist you with your dealings internally and with your End Clients.
